Fade-in / Fade-out

Replayer, by default, applies short fade operations at playback start and pause. You can change the default fading duration in the application settings, including no fading, for both operations.

Omitting fade-in for cues

Fade-in can be omitted on a per-cue basis.

If omitted, fade-in is not applied when

• starting playback of the cue via click on the cue button
• starting playback of the cue with a keyboard shortcut or a play/pause button;
  as long as playback starts subsequently to invoking the keyboard shortcut

A seeking operation clears a possibly set fading omission. Note: any defined pre-roll is still applied regardless of a fade-in omission.
